The department of Information and Public Relations is basically interface between Govt. Media and the Public. The department is charged with the responsibility of projecting and disseminating information about the programmes, policies and achievements of the Govt. The Department provides this information to print and electronic media for information of public. The Information Department has interested the responsibility of propagation of various programmes and policies of Government by using the service of print /Electronic media to give wide publicity among the masses about the programmes and policies of Govt. as well as VVIPs tours the Department provides press note Video Potages and Photographs to different news agencies for including in their daily bulletin, the Department also install Public Address System on all Govt. functions as well as religious function on need bases .Besides the department also conducted cultural programmes Exhibition to high light various welfare Schemes and achievements of Govt.
